Ece Cetin

Ece graduated from Columbia University GSAPP, with masters in Advanced Architectural Design. She holds Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees and minors in Nature, Culture Sustainability Studies and Global Processes from from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).

Ece is a Turkish-born designer and has previously worked in Istanbul, San Francisco and New York. Her work reflects an interest in conceptual, spatial and social frameworks to rethink the role and possibilities of architecture. She sees critical thinking and making as a crucial input in her creative process.  Her interests range from artistic material explorations to construction. She utilizes formal and conceptual explorations to confront the challenging questions architecture can respond.
